SG1 Soccer Club is proud to announce that Arely Yañez (SG1 ECNL RL STXCL G08/07) , earned the opportunity to train and compete with FC Juárez professional team in Cuidad, Juarez, Mexico , following her standout performance at the FC Juárez ID Event hosted by SG1 this past December

Arely was initially identified during the camp, where FC Juárez international coaching staff evaluated players for advancement opportunities. Her technical ability, determination, and consistency quickly distinguished her among a competitive group of athletes, ultimately leading to this next step in her soccer journey.

Over the past year, Arely has continued to develop within the SG1 environment, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to growth—qualities that translated seamlessly into the professional training environment in Juárez.

Reflecting on her experience, Arely shared:
“Training with FC Juárez for tryouts was a really memorable experience for me. Our days started early, from 6am to 9am, beginning in the weight room where we warmed up and did a few workouts. After that, we went out to the field for training, pushing ourselves and showing what we could do.

The competitive level was a good push for me and the girls to show our strength and what we have to give. Once training ended, we went back to the weight room to lift more and have a talk with the coaches.

The schedule was intense, but it helped me grow both physically and mentally. The team was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away. The coaches were also supportive and encouraging throughout the process.

Overall, it was a great experience, and making the team made all the hard work worth it.”
Arely’s journey reflects the mission of SG1 Soccer Club—to provide players with meaningful opportunities that extend beyond the local level and into the international game.

“We are incredibly proud of Arely and the work she has put in to earn this opportunity,” said Eugenio De Obeso, SG1 Coaching Director. “She represents the mindset, discipline, and ambition we strive to instill in all of our players.”

Through continued partnerships and international exposure opportunities, SG1 remains committed to helping players reach the next level—both on and off the field.
